Metro has about 938 employees, most of which are bus drivers and mechanics. Metro operates 390 Metro buses (245 Queensgate and 145 Bond Hill). There are 44 regular routes, 26 express routes and 7 "Job Connection" routes covering about 13 million miles per year. Metro also owns 53 Access paratransit vehicles. Metro provides almost 23 million passenger trips per year. Metro also provides about 11,000 rides to Cincinnati Public School and parochial school junior and senior high school students on school days. Metro's trips are related to economic development - including work trips and shopping.
